Yes, they will both help to pollinate each other and attract the kind of insects that assist in that process. It is always better to have trees in pairs that are exactly the same but similar is ok too.

Peaches don’t need friends, they are self-pollinating. That said, have two together will bring in the pollinating bees which is always helpful.
As usual, you’ll also be attracting the Great Peach Tree Borer, so beware and take precautions.
You be good eatin’ at your place in late summer!

They are both self fertile trees, but having them near each other can increase pollination. Might not be all that good a thing as the redhaven is a very heavy producer as it is and you may need to thin the fruit to get a quality crop. The answer that you got saying you want 2 of the same type of tree for cross pollination is way off. You need different varieties. Whe you go to purchase a fruit tree make sure to do a quick search for that particular variety. Many online catalouges will tell you if the tree is self fertile or will often name a good pollinating variety as a companion. Most times at the nursery the tag will give that information. No worries with peaches though, almost all varieties are self pollinating.
