Fuji Apples are easy to come by. If your local nursery doesn’t carry them, you can order bareroot stock online from one of about a dozen different reputable nurseries. The local nurseries will most likely be getting in their new stock sometime in late February or March – depending on your weather there.
APPLE TREESIt wants a sunny location. Usually it will be a few years before you get good crops. If any fruit form the first year or two – it’s recommended that you pull them off when they’re still tiny – so the tree spends it energy establishing itself and a good root system rather than growing fruit.
Although it wants a pollinator, apple trees are common – and crabapple trees even more so. You practically can’t spit around here without hitting one. And crabapples will pollinate your eatin’ apples just fine. Or if you want, you can or another apple variety for your orchard just to make life interesting and give you choices.

First of all it is Fuji Apple. Call your local nursery and ask them to order you one or to recommend a good fruit nursery; your county’s agricultural commission would know, too.
APPLE TREESFuji ripens late October. It needs a pollinator.
Standard trees grow to about 22-25 ft. and bear in 4 to 6 years.
