Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

   I use a combo…different tastes…great color
   2 yellow apples, chopped
   2 red apples, chopped
   2 Snickers candy bars, crushed
   1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip

   mmmmmm… a very yummy salad!
   Snickers Salad
   6 Red Delicious apples
   4 Granny Smith apples
   4 bananas
   6 Snickers candy bars (regular, not peanut butter)
   16 oz. Cool Whip
   Pretzels
   Chop up the apples, bananas and candy bars. Mix with Cool Whip. Crush pretzels to serve on top just before serving. Chill overnight. Serves 25.

   I have to use Washington state apples, green ones are way to sour. I also use cream and I whip it with a mixer and add sugar to it.

   i would recommend fuji or gala. they aren’t as tart as green apples, but as mushy as red. perfect balance or sweet, tart, and crunch!
