I am going to replace some existing trees with another type of tree. What edible fruit tree can I plant that either grows less than 6-7 feet, or that I can prune to about 6-7 feet that will survive in the Houston, Texas climate?
The weather is hot and humid during the summer with highs ranging between 90-95 F, though it can get up to 100 F.
Winter lows are around 30 (though it doesn’t stay below freezing for more than a few hours), with average temperatues about 65 F.
