How much should I charge someone to garden in my back yard?

Because they use water that all of the roommate pay for, I want to make it fair to everyone but there is no way to determine exactly how much more water the garden uses.
Should I charge them a full portion of the bill (ie if there are 3 renters and 1 gardener, charge everyone 25% of the bill each month)?
Should I charge them a flat fee? If so, how much?
The garden is 13′x10′.

I bought a little apple tree a couple of years ago from a garden center the first year it produced one tiny apple, however last year it began to look sickly and didn’t produce any fruit and I noticed that the trunk has split near the base. This year it is growing well and looks as if it might be recovering as the blossom is already coming and lots of new leaves however I notice that on one side of the trunk it still has a split open wound . should I just leave it to recover itself or is there anything I can do to help it seal the split?any help appreciated.

I have an apple that has wrinkly skin and is bruised so I don’t want to eat it, I’d like to plant it (I have apple trees so I know they grow well here) can I plant the whole apple (the fruit part works as fertilizer?) or should I cut out the seeds and plant them? And should I do it inside or outside?

Should we start calling xmas trees holiday trees or leave it as is?

I have a variety of fruit trees and i have been reading about chemical to keep the pest down . Not sure what to use on them.Would like to keep the chemical treatment to a minumn. Could someone recomend some if basic chemicals if really needed

I have 2 apple trees and 1 peach tree and we just put them in last year. I don’t think they are very old.. Maybe 3 years or around there. They are around 6 feet tall. I have noticed this year apples and peaches have started to grow all over the tree but the limbs still seem quite young. Should I pick those off so that way it doesn’t break the limbs as the fruit starts to get bigger? Or should I leave them on there? Will they grow to the normal size this early in the tree’s life?

i want to enclose my fruit trees in a wood border, wood like to seal the wood with eco and plant friendly sealer, do u know of any wood sealer i can use?
i searched and they say pressure treated wood is not good to use near your fruit trees or anything u are going to eat. thats why i am looking for eco friendly sealer. if it last 2 to 3 years, that is great, i can replace wood every 2 to 3 years.

I live in TN. So, far we have had about 2 weeks of warm weather (60s & 70s) before spring even set in. Last year, our winter ended right around this time also unlike past decade where cold weather ( < 60F) would last through April. So, should I wait a little longer or can I go ahead and start my flower gardening now?
