I am trying to find a local garden shop that sells horsetail plants for my garden. I know I can order them online, but would prefer to find somewhere local so I could inspect them first. Any ideas?
I plan on using it in dedicated planters with nothing else.

Planning to re-do the landscaping the backyard which would include some trees. I’m worried about the roots of a tree or plant ruining the pool later. Are there any trees or plants that would be ok near the pool?

Both Trees and small plants evolved flowers. My question is which came first, the tree or the flower. If trees evolved first, then I would expect to see no flowers on trees at all, or flowers that are dramatically different from those in plants. I am new to gardening and I love it. Problem is im not to keen on planting every year. I would prefer to plant a rose bush that dies every winter and flowers every spring. Plants like that,

My ponies are aloud to walk around part of the yard / garden . I have clipped some elder bushes which are very pretty and the ponies never touch. I would like to have some tubs of flowers either perennials or annuals that are not poisonous and the ponies would not want to eat .
