Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

I like the tree in my backyard, but am extremely allergic to bees and would rather the tree just not produce apples then cut it down.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this. I love honeycrisps but they are sold in big bags & I really don’t want to eat raw apples for days on end. What else can honeycrisps be made with? TIA!

Does anyone have a good recipe for making the carmel using a sugar substitute ? I love to make and eat carmel apples for Halloween but, I have been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Is there a way for me to make them so that I can have one too???

I think it may have been a Bettie Crocker recipe, but I’m not sure,

the flowers become small apples but they all end up falling off. This is the second year it’s done this, we used to have apples all the years before.

They were on sale so I bought a few bags to make and freeze apple crips , I’ve already made 3 to freeze and have lots of apples left . Any other ideas other than apple pie that freezes well ? Thanks

I will be baking an apple with no sugar and none of that yucky splenda/equal sugar (not really good as a substitute sugar IMO 10x as bad a regular sugar IMO but I digress).

I love the apple turnovers you get in M&S but all the recipes on the net don’t look anything like as good as M&S’. Does anyone have a recipe for their apple turnovers or a least look and taste as good. Thanks
