When i was a kid my grandma used to make this chicken curry that had apple cubes and saltanas in it. it had a savory/sweet taste and was so nice. I never got the recipe off her does anyone no a recipe that would be similar?

I made it last year and it was great, but lost the recipe! It’s a double crust apple pie but the thing that makes it different is while you are making the filling you put red hots in it!!! It’s delicious. If anybody knows the recipe or something similar let me know!
