apple trees
Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

To say our apple trees are our passion would be an understatement. We will be gradually adding lots of photos and apple trees articles, including growing apple tree guides, guide on dwarf apples trees, apple recipes, apple tree growing and much more!

You will be able to buy apple trees here also! Apple trees for sale around the UK will be listed, as will review guides and how to buy apple trees.

There are a lot of really big, old oak trees on my property. I live in a sort of low area, and it always gets colder where I live than anywhere else. Well, we got a big frost recently. In my area, some of the budding oak trees’ buds were severely damaged, and now they [...]

I am fermenting 1 gallon of apple juice into apple cider using a white wine yeast. I was just wondering how long I’d have to wait until it finished fermenting?

I want to grow a tree from a seed. I just want to know how long before I should start looking for fruit. Also, what care should I take prior to the fruiting season?

My boyfriend and I have 2 siberian huskies, 1 irish wolfhound and 2 cats, which all somehow picked up fleas. We’ve started adding in a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in with every bowl of water that gets drank, but when does it take effect?

While cleaning out the dark recesses of my pantry, I have discovered an opened bottle of apple cider vinegar. Heaven knows how old it is, but since vinegar is basically wine that has already turned (and wine is fermented juice), can it get any worse? Is it still safe to use? I know it won’t [...]

I bought a 5 gallon tree plant from Home Depot and it seems to be already fruiting a little but I was wondering how long before it fully starts to produce fruits? Also, I’ve heard somewhere that in order to grow fruit trees, you have to put 2 next to each other. Is this true?

I bought some apple cider at a farmers market and since it isn’t pasteurized, i’m told it will become alcoholic eventually. It’s already become carbonated. How long does it take for apple cider to become alcoholic?

I bought some apples a couple of days before Thanksgiving with the intent of making a pie but never quite got to it. I found them yesterday still in the bag in an obscure corner in my kitchen. They’ve been sitting out two weeks at room temp, would they still be ok to use?
