I love that McDonald’s has some more healthy snack selections. In particular I enjoy the fruit and walnut salad. I know that they must spray some type of chemical to keep the apples from turning brown. I bought a pack today 11/16 they will be considered edible until 11/28… That sounds chemically modified to me.

After a glut of apples two years ago, I still have loads in the freezer. All cut peeled and either mashed raw or stewed. Is it safe to eat them now or should I put them in the compost? It was hard work preparing them all and I don’t like to waste them.
