Keep bugs and animals away from my fruit trees?

I have 4 fruit trees in my backyard (pear,apple,peach,and nectarine) and i was wondering if there was any way (other than pesticides) of keeping bugs and animals away from them but mainly bugs ?

We have several fruit trees which have already started budding here in Albuqueruque, NM. I don’t think we have blossoms yet. We seem to always lose the buds/blossoms on these particular trees and, therefore, the fruit because of freezing weather. How can we keep the buds/blossoms from freezing and dying? How can we keep them from budding and blossoming so early? We’ve heard about putting plastic sheets and XMAS lights on the trees. I assume the plastic should be clear but should it be a particular type?

I just moved in to a house with some fruit trees. How do I keep them from rotting or being eaton by bugs?

The fruit is small. I have no expierience taking care of fruit trees. I have a apple tree, a plum tree, and I’m not sure what the third tree is but it kind of looks like a peach?

Here in El Paso, fruit trees do very well but the birds get to the fruits before the people. I get great plums, peaches and grapes as well as tomatoes and vegetable with no chemicals or commercial fertilizers. The birds tend to eat 80% of my crops and I would like to deter them without poisons or deadly measures.

What’s the best thing to spray on fruit trees to keep them from being wormy? My plum tree is wormy each year!?

Every summer the birds get into a lot of the fruit and ruined it. I have about 14 trees with different fruits, it wouldn’t be so bad if they just stuck to the same fruit, but have to peck into all them. I don’t like to pick the fruit early because it does not taste as good. Any ideas?

A fruit tree at our house –which borders on a forest– suddenly sprang into bloom last year, loaded with plums. We tried a few as they ripened, and they were delicious. Just when we were about to pick them, we found that the squirrels had beaten us to it. They had eaten about ten dozen plums in a few days. What can we do?

My mom has a couple of fruit trees that always want to blossom in the warm spells we have in February. We live in North Texas, so a late frost is almost always going to freeze the blossoms and prevent the tree from giving ANY fruit. So how do we keep the fruit trees from blooming too early, then not giving any fruit for the rest of the season?
The trees in question are Nectarines and peaches, though the peaches sometimes re-bloom and give fruit in the summer. Her cherries actually seem to wait for the last frost. What crazy trees!
