Hi. I was eating a Honeycrisp apple and looked it up on Wikipedia. It says and I direct quote “For the sake of commercial production, Honeycrisp apple trees are not self-fruitful, so trees grown from the seeds of Honeycrisp apples will be hybrids of Honeycrisp and the pollinator.” So what I would like to know is how do we get true Honeycrisp trees by the thousands for growing true Honeycrisp apples.

Don’t say got to Home Depot or Lowes either. LOL Where do they and orchards get them from. As in how do you REPRODUCE one? That’s the key word in my question. Thanks.

PS. These apples are freaking sweet to eat. Go buy one.

They never grew any apples, they’re very small trees, but this year no flowers at all. I’m worried about whether or not I’ll ever have apples on my tree. We have a crab apple tree about 100 feet away (or less) which the nursery said would be a good pollenator for the trees. Does anybody know anything about these trees?
