Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

Can someone give me a good apple pie recipe using frozen pie crust, or another easy Thanksgiving dessert recipe? Websites with tried-and-true recipes are fine, if you include a link. Please help me. Low fat stuff is also good. Thanks!

We have tried to grow Apple trees of recomended southern varities in zone 9 and they bear– put last only 7-8 years because nematodes kill the trees at that age. Apples are easy to grow, but my suggestion is stick with growing them in Zone 7 and furthur north in the USA.
