My kids will eat cut up apples, but not a whole apple. So, I’m trying to figure the best way to pack apples in their lunches. It’s hard to keep packed lunches nutritious for my picky eaters. Thanks!

To say our apple trees are our passion would be an understatement. We will be gradually adding lots of photos and apple trees articles, including growing apple tree guides, guide on dwarf apples trees, apple recipes, apple tree growing and much more!
You will be able to buy apple trees here also! Apple trees for sale around the UK will be listed, as will review guides and how to buy apple trees.

Ascorbic acid also known as Fruit Fresh, lemon juice, lime juice, orange juice.
APPLE TREESHow about getting some of those tiny zip lock boxes the half cup size? and make them a fruit salad. Plastic fork or spoon works very well here. Apples and marshmallows in orange marinade. Any other fruits you think they would eat go nicely here too.
Orange marinade is 1/4 cup undiluted orange juice concentrate, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup honey and 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice all blended together. You don’t need much on the fruit salad.

Get a jar of Fruit Fresh, which is a powder that you add to water. It will be near the spices, or the canning supplies at the grocery store. This works much better than lemon juice, because it doesn’t flavor the apples or make them “mushy”. A jar is very cheap and will last a LONG time

Lemon, lime, pineapple and orange juices all work well at stopping the apples from browning.
