Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

To say our apple trees are our passion would be an understatement. We will be gradually adding lots of photos and apple trees articles, including growing apple tree guides, guide on dwarf apples trees, apple recipes, apple tree growing and much more!

   apple cheesecake recipe

   Ingredients:

   16 ounces of softened cream cheese.
   4 cups of apple slices, peeled and sliced thinly (2-3 apples).
   1 cup of graham cracker (or other biscuit) crumbs.
   Three amounts of sugar: 3 tablespoons, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup.
   1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
   3 tablespoons of melted margarine.
   2 medium eggs.
   1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
   1/2 cup of chopped pecans.
   Directions:

   Preheat oven to 350F (175C).

   Combine the graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and melted margarine, and mix well.

   Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate to form the crust. Bake for about 10 minutes.

   In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until well blended. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat after each is added. Blend in the vanilla, and pour the mixture into prepared crust.

   In a large bowl, combine 1/3 cup of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add the apples and toss to coat. Spoon the apples over top of the cheesecake filling. Sprinkle the pecans over the apples. Put back into the oven and bake for an hour.

   Chill, then serve.

   APPLE WAFFLES RECIPES

   Ingredients:

   2 medium eggs.
   2 cups of milk.
   2 cups of pancake mix.
   1 cup of finely chopped apple.
   ¼ cup of melted butter.
   1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
   Directions:

   Place the eggs, milk, pancake mix and melted butter in bowl.

   Beat with a mixer until the batter is fairly smooth.

   Stir in the finely chopped apple.

   Bake in a hot waffle iron until steaming stops.

   Serve as desired.

   apple mousse recipe
   Ingredients:

   4 large cooking apples.
   1 ½ cup of water.
   ¾ cup of sugar.
   2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
   2 teaspoons of cornstarch.
   Directions:

   Core and peel the cooking apples.

   Slice the apples thinly, then place them in a large saucepan.

   Add the water water and the sugar; then cook until the apples are very soft.

   Next, sprinkle in the cornstarch, stirring and beating to avoid lumps.

   Stir in the lemon juice.

   Set aside and allow to cool.

   Place in a blender and blend until smooth.

   Pour into dessert dishes and chill until it is time to serve.

   APPLE SAUCE
   Ingredients:

   12 x Apples, washed and cut in quarters.
   ½ cup of Sugar.
   2 teaspoons of Cinnamon.
   2 tablespoons of Butter.
   ½ cup of Water.
   Directions:

   1. Put the apples, sugar, cinnamon, butter and water into a large pot and simmer, stirring often.
   2. For the first 10 minutes check the level of the liquid, and if necessary add water. Cook for about 20 minutes or until the apples are soft.
   3. Sieve roughly and serve hot for best results.

   Betty Crocker.com has a recipe finder where you can type in any main ingredient, and it will find recipes that have it in it. I use it quite a bit and it comes in very handy.

   Chicken, Cheese and Apple Sandwiches:

   Put mayo and mustard on bread, top with cooked chicken, add thin apple slices, top that with cheese. Lay open face on cookie sheet and broil until cheese is melted. I know it sounds weird, but it is really good, my kids love it when I make them!

   Graham Cracker Sandwiches:

   Break grahams in half, spread thin amount of peanut butter on both crackers, put apple slices on one side then top with other cracker. This is so yummy!

   Apple Pancakes:

   Just dice up some apples and add them to your batter. You could even make a bunch of pancakes and freeze them. That way you’ll use up more of your apples and have ready to go pancakes!
