Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

We have a peach tree and it will freeze tonight. We want to protect the fruit as much as the plant.
The plant is almost 5 feet tall.

    you need something non-porous such as a tarp. you can get an 8′ by 8′ for a few bucks at lowes. throw it over the tree . leave it as loose as possible to avoid any damage. tie a rope around the base below the last limbs.
