I made red candy apples last night, not the caramel kind. The instructions said do not refrigerate. Store in a cool dry place. So we left them on the baking sheet we cooled them on. This morning they’re sticky and a little wet. Now my husband and I are arguing about what we should have done. I say wrap in saran wrap, but he says no. Help? Should I wrap the now?

If you wrap them it will make them worse.

been, if you made them from a scratch recipe, the boiling point of the sugar was just not high enough.
Other than that, you can roll them in some small candy bits, that would stop the stickiness.
