Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

I want to slice some apples up, since it is cheaper then buying already sliced apples. But the store bought pre-sliced apples are always crispy. How can I keep my apples fresh like that?

    You need to coat them with lemon or orange juice to stop browning.

    Squirt some sort of citric acid on top to prevent oxidation. I suggest lemon juice, but i’ve also heard of some people using freshly squeezed orange juice or cranberry juice from the bottle.

    Add Lemon Juice with diced Cilantro.
    Keep it sealed and refrigerated.

    Lemon juice. If you put a little lemon juice on the apples, they will keep longer.
