apple trees
Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

To say our apple trees are our passion would be an understatement. We will be gradually adding lots of photos and apple trees articles, including growing apple tree guides, guide on dwarf apples trees, apple recipes, apple tree growing and much more!

You will be able to buy apple trees here also! Apple trees for sale around the UK will be listed, as will review guides and how to buy apple trees.

I am having a hard time distinguishing the difference. I understand that pine trees have needles that grow on clusters and that fir trees needles grow on the tree but that is about all i understand. If you could explain them in further detail and attach links to pictures of close up needles on the [...]

Where can I find grants to plant trees in New Orleans? I want to revitalize a playground in New Orleans. The area is very poor and coming back slowly that I am considering. Due the families having low budgets, I was thinking of planting apple, orange and pecan trees in the park over the benches. [...]

I always thought that my lemon and apple trees never gave out fruit because of the Texas weather, but I’ve been seeing so many houses with lemons and apples and pears on their trees. Only once did it seem like one of my trees was going to give lemons but they were blown away by [...]

Why is it when they build big plazas they cut down big trees, when they could have left them in the parking lot? (they plant tiny trees anyways) so what’s the point of cutting the big ones down? AND ALSO, what’s the reason they sometimes on old plazas and near offices, they cut down mature [...]

Have you always wondered how do trees know when it is that time of year for the leaves to change colors and fall off of the trees on to the ground, what processes must a tree go threw before it’s leaves can start to change color and fall on to the ground. 5-10-08

Extra info: No, these are not planted trees…I am talking about driving along a country road, out in the boonies, and its always the same. Wild cedar trees line the fence line. I’m baffled by this…particulary in Georgia, where I am from. Why do small cedar trees seem to grow along the fence lines beside [...]

An orange grower finds that she gets an average yield of 40 bushels per tree when she plants 20 trees on an acre of ground. Each time she adds a tree to an acre, the yield per tree decreases by 1 bushel, due to congestion. How many trees per acre should she plant for maximum [...]

I heard that willow trees could possibly be planted inside the body of water and grow to extend outward past the surface of the water. Is this true? and more importantly, are there any other trees that do this as well?
