apple trees
Welcome to Apple Trees, this site is fanatical about anything to do with apples and apple trees. Our fanaticism started when we planted our dwarf apple tree in our small back garden. Gradually, this became an obsession and to cut a long story short, we bought some land and started our own orchard.

To say our apple trees are our passion would be an understatement. We will be gradually adding lots of photos and apple trees articles, including growing apple tree guides, guide on dwarf apples trees, apple recipes, apple tree growing and much more!

You will be able to buy apple trees here also! Apple trees for sale around the UK will be listed, as will review guides and how to buy apple trees.

Because they use water that all of the roommate pay for, I want to make it fair to everyone but there is no way to determine exactly how much more water the garden uses. Should I charge them a full portion of the bill (ie if there are 3 renters and 1 gardener, charge everyone [...]

Also lettuce, will this be able to last through 20F. We have a garden and these plants are obviously still in the growing. Mainly this freezing temperature will be through the night. The low 20F’s should last for about three nights. Then it warms up to about low to mid 40′s in the day time.

I’ve spotted several little hedgehogs in and around our garden, but would love to spot them on a regular basis and possibly provide them with an interesting and safe garden to use during the colder months. Any tips?

I have a lot of little plants that look okay, but I need some fast growing, darker plants for the back of my garden to give the flowers in front a “foil” to make them stand out better. I like tropical plants but don’t know anything about them. My biggest issue is that one side [...]

I am wanting to make stepping stones, with my kids hand or foot prints, for my parents for Christmas. I want to be more for garden decoration than for stepping on, but also want them to hold up in weather conditions. Does anyone know of such a way for me to do this?

Could I simply load the hose with the cleaning agent, pouring it directly into the garden hose, and then put a nozzle onto the hose, turn on the water and use the nozzle to regulate pressure and fluid delivery? Course I would drain out the water from the hose first so as not to dilute [...]

Hi! I’ve been incredibly lazy and have left my garden in a terrible state over the last 6 months or so, and recently had in a gardener to cut back the weeds and sort out the lawn. It’s in a really really bad state, bumpy, dark brown grass/hay. I was wondering how to restore the [...]
