There is a great sale now on for flowering plum trees at a local store…about $7.50 per tree. However, the trees are at least 6 feet tall, kinda spindly, and the trunks are less than 3/4 of an inch thick. Is this really a good deal? Should I buy them and hope for the best. I was thinking maybe the tops could be trimmed down. We live with occasional gusty winds and some snow in the winter.

Sounds like a great addition to a large tree for me. Do not prune if you do not have well-dug soil in bisogno.Pianta with compost added. Seasol water (or other seaweed extract in the middle of the garden), it stops and transplant shock is a promoter of the root. Keep wet and dry to stabilito.La most new plants have especially drawn to play in windy areas. Put in two episodes (high stakes tomatoes will do) one on each side and use old socks or neckties special equipment to keep in place until to. Make sure there is a pole on the side the wind comes and tie ties loop around the main trunk is at stake. One on each side. This allows the handle to move a bit “so thick, but not that much harm to spend that root.
